Today I harvest my rucula sprouts after 5 days since germination. Every single tiny sprout is super tasty and flavorful!!!
The dressing is an inspiration from Kewpie sesame sauce: toasted sesame seeds crushed with lemon juice, mayo, and seasonings. I added a bit of soy yogurt to give more volume and loosen the sauce a bit.
I did not know there would be so much joy in growing our own food, waiting for them (of couse this counts), and eating them when it’s time. No wonder why my mom loves farming so much.
I am not good at growing things to be honest but I am happy that my little boxes of sprouts grow up nicely and deliciously!! Got so motivated that I moved on to grow mushrooms now hehe. Stay tuned!
